Beddington Farm Top Listers

Beddington Farmlands is the site of landfill and water treatment works and consists of two lakes, grassy and sacrificial crop mounds, sludge beds and shallow pools. The landfill operations are set to finish at the end of 2017 where an Incinerator will deal with South London's waste. Despite considerable changes to the habitats this is still one of London's premier birdwatching sites. The site owners permit access to a limited number of keyholders that collect scientific data for the annual wildlife and fauna report.

For more information on the site and daily sighting please visit  http://beddingtonfarmlands.org.uk/

Keyholders were given nicknames (in brackets) which have remained throughout the passage of time!

For species to be included on the list records must have been accepted by Surrey or London records Committee's. Species that have been submitted or there is no doubt they will be accepted ie multi observer/photographed are included.

Please contact me kevcapg@blueyonder.co.uk if you are a former keyholder and would like to be included on the list. Also if there are any errors / amendments to the list.
